About the Role
At HM Plumbing, our Plumbers/Service Technicians are trusted experts who deliver exceptional service to residential and commercial clients. You’ll travel to scheduled job sites to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, respond to emergencies like burst pipes, and perform preventative maintenance to keep plumbing systems safe, functional, and efficient. From sourcing the right materials to ensuring proper water flow and drainage, you’ll help customers avoid costly future problems.
Our technicians work on everything from water heaters and toilets to sinks and commercial systems—sometimes in crawl spaces—making sure all connections meet code and function flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues for residential and commercial customers
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent leaks, corrosion, and system failures
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls
- Source and install the correct materials to ensure long-term performance
- Work in various environments, including crawl spaces and outdoor areas
- Maintain compliance with Georgia plumbing codes and regulations
- Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication on every job
- Operate company vehicles safely and maintain tools/equipment in good condition
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Georgia plumber’s license (or in process)
- 3+ years of plumbing experience
- Strong knowledge of plumbing system maintenance, repairs, and installation
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of current plumbing codes and regulations
